1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DailyHangeul, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

DailyHangeul is a Korean language learning application that provides:

• Daily Korean vocabulary and phrase lessons
• AI-powered pronunciation practice and evaluation
• Conversational AI tutor for Korean learning
• Real-world scenario practice
• Learning progress tracking and statistics

Features may vary between free and premium subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

• You may use the App without an account (as a Guest), but certain features require signing in with Google or Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

Billing Terms

• Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple/Google's refund policies.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the App
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with the App's normal operation
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent any security features
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

• All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, audio, and software, is the property of DailyHangeul or its licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit permission.
• The Korean vocabulary, phrases, and educational content are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
• The DailyHangeul name, logo, and branding are protected trademarks.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

• AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies.
• Do not rely solely on AI feedback for professional or critical purposes.
• We continuously work to improve AI accuracy but cannot guarantee perfection.
• The AI tutor is not a replacement for professional language instruction.

8. Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DailyHangeul, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Termination

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the app settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
• Provisions that should survive termination (such as liability limitations, indemnification) will remain in effect.
• We may discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be notified through the App or via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
